Dispatching

The focal point of any towing operation is the dispatch center, where information flows quickly between the office and the field. During busy times, the dispatch center can just as easily become a bottleneck. When this occurs, customer service and resource utilization both decline.

Tracker Enterprise increases the capacity, accuracy and performance of the towing dispatch center substantially, for several reasons:

1.Call Takers can readily view job status on their own computer screens and are able to provide accurate information on ETA's and job status to callers, without having to interrupt the dispatcher.
2.The Dispatch screen organizes all pending and future work in a logical manner, so that the dispatcher can make informed decisions quickly. Screens can be organized to the dispatchers preference. Information can be looked at in multiple ways, depending on the information needed.
3.When combined with wireless dispatch, the transfer of new tow assignments to the field and their ongoing progression takes automatically, eliminating over 80% of voice communications.
4.Tracker Enterprise allows the dispatcher to view the location of both vehicles and jobs by zone, as well as other pertinent data, such as tow type, vehicle type, priority, job latency, etc. This information saves valuable time in correctly allocating resources.
5.Rather than being in a constant reactive mode, the dispatcher is able to focus on the big picture, becoming more management than task oriented.

Tracker Enterprise for Windows greatly accelerates the process of dispatching calls to trucks, allowing your existing dispatch staff to increase their own capacity. Furthermore, when combined with wireless dispatch, Tracker customers report that they are able to achieve an average of one extra tow per driver per shift.

Up to Date

The ability to view the current status of all drivers, vehicles and tows at a glance keeps the Dispatcher informed of actual versus estimated tow completion time, so that potential work backlogs can be spotted ahead of time. This allows for a proactive approach to work balancing.

Logical

The status of a specific tow changes automatically to the next progression with a single mouse click. For example, if the last status on a specific tow was "arrived", then the system will change it to "hooked" when the update button is clicked. In data dispatch systems, this occurs automatically.

Organized

Tracker helps keep dispatchers organized. This notepad allows quick notes to be entered as reminders or to keep things flowing between shift changes. An additional notepad feature is available that allows unlimited notes for every dispatch call.
